Beaconator Achievement won't unlock.

Reporting the same problem on Xbox One.  Minecraft version is v1.8.0.

As the previous commenter did, have tried multiple beacon effects, removing and replacing the beacon, removing and replacing the beacon and the block beneath it, rebuilding the entire pyramid and still no luck.

We have even tried saving the game, exiting Minecraft, reloading Minecraft, and then performing the steps above, also with no luck.

Other achievements have been unlocking fine today, as we were able to get the achievements for spawning and killing the wither a few hours before attempting The Beaconator.

EDIT:  Forgot to mention that this is happening in local play, both solo and split screen co-op.  We are not playing in Realms at all.

EDIT #2:  After repeatedly trying to get this to pop, it popped when we destroyed the whole top layer of the beacon pyramid, then replaced it, building the sides first, then the middle block, then the beacon block, and then feeding the beacon.  

This is marked as resolved, but isn't.

I still cannot unlock this achievement on April 11th 2019, Xbox One Beta 1.11.09

I have tried all the steps in the comments above.

I also tried in a brand new save and an imported one from the old Xbox One edition. Both fail.

I also tried importing the tutorial level from previous versions, as suggested in achievement guides - this also fails.

I have unlocked different achievements in all of these worlds, but The Beaconator never pops.

I am having the same issue on my realm in bedrock edition on the xbox one.  I have done the following in order:

1)  I spawned the wither (earned achievement)

2)  I defeated the wither (earned achievement)

3)  I build a pyramid using the following layout, 9x9 gold, 7x7 iron, 5x5 emerald, and 3x3 diamond with the beacon on top

4)  beacon allows me to gain the secondary boost so I power the beacon with a diamond

5) I notice that I am enjoying two effects and the beacon light is shining

6) No achievement is given

7) I then go and work on an underwater temple (earn sleep with fishes achievement)

8)  I return and troubleshoot beacon and try the follow:

a) removing one block from each level and then replacing each block

b) I tear down the entire beacon and rebuild fresh

c) I take the beacon top off and replace back ontop

d) I replace the entire pyramid using only iron blocks

e) I try to repower the beacon using a piece of iron

9)  In each attempt, the beacon would power and give me the max boost of two effects and the beam of light would work, but the achievement would never trigger.

I'm experiencing the same issue on Xbox One Bedrock Edition. I can get achievements in the world, but this one isn't popping even though I have crafted the beacon, made the pyramid and placed and fed the beacon as necessary. What's going on with this achievement?

I am having the same issue on my Realm. Several achievements have been earned but beaconater achievement will not pop. Xbox One current version.

I was with this bug, but a few hours after the third or fourth time that I activated it in maximum capacity, suddenly the achievement unlocked. '-'

Not working for me on xbox one I built the pyramid put the beacon on top and activated it with haste and regeneration but I didnt get the achievement!?

I am still not receiving the achievement, now on 1.14.1 edition of bedrock. I have built two beacons fully powered as my previous post states with the same steps in troubleshooting. No achievement awarded.

I didn't receive the achievement after attempts, destroying parts of the pyramid, choosing different powers, etc. I even quit my world and returned several times. I finally got the achievement once I quit while standing near the beacon and re-entered the world: I would recommend others try the same thing.

Up to this point no achievement for beaconator.

Okay, so I was able to consistently unlock this achievement (we unlocked it 4 times). All you need is:

• A device you want to unlock the achievement on (A)

• A friend/account with Windows 10 version of the game (B)

What you need to do it:

1. Connect to your world on device A
2. Connect to the same world through device B
3. Build the entire beacon on a device A
4. Make sure the account on device B is in range of the beacon
5. Select both Haste AND Regeneration effects, put ingot of your choosing in the beacon and confirm
    (Selecting Haste 2 gives varying results)
6. Voila! You now have the achievement you need to get that so desired 100% completion.

• Xbox One

• Android

• iOS

I'm having the same problem on Xbox One. (1.14.60)

I just had the same problem on a Spigot server, and got it after breaking tier 1, and then replacing the single block again. I got it immediately.

I'm also having this issue on iOS v1.16.0 - got the achievements for spawning and killing the wither today but the one for fully powering the beacon wasn't recognized, even after save and quit several times and breaking blocks in the pyramid and replacing them.

I have the same issue on Windows 10 - v1.16.1. The world is completely Survival; I earned an achievement in it just this morning and haven't turned on cheats or anything since. Please fix.

I finally got it to pop in v1.16.10 on iOS after downloading the world to my device, completely dismantling the entire pyramid and rebuilding it over a hundred blocks away from the original site.

I am having the same issues. I tried moving my beacon as well to see if i could get the achievement but is still wont unlock. I am on Win 10 of bedrock and it is fully up to date. 

I'll try this tomorrow wish me luck it works because I've been grinding 40 achivements for the past 2 days please make this work

Still can't get this to unlock on Win 10 v1.16.10; I've tried everything, including Lilliane Katelynn Cloud's method.

MY THEORY for what is wrong is blocks surrounding the beacon. Though my beacon is exposed to the sky, my beacon is encased almost entirely by blocks.

I am also having this issue. We finally managed to build the beacon, and have not got the achievement.

On "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, cross platform edition. (Not the "Xbox One Edition", just bedrock edition.)

I have not experienced this issue. Have you thought to get the supplies to make the beacon, copy the world, and finish the beacon in the copy? The issue could also be that you have turned on cheats for whatever reason (I will sometimes use keep inventory), and forgot about it, and therefore you cannot access achievements.

We definitely don't have cheats turned on, and have just tested and are still getting other achievements - but certain achievements are bugging like this one and not registering.

this happend to me back in 1.14
i just broke my whole beacon structure and replaced it
then i got the achievement
trust me i know how it feels to not get the achievement i panicked until i tried this.

this is happening to me on the latest update on windows 10 (i updated yesterday). i am getting all other achievements on my survival world but the Beaconator achievement isnt working. im trying to get all the achievements and dont have too many to go but would hate to not be able to get them all due to a bug. ive rebuilt the entire beacon twice and am getting multiple affects but still no achievement please fix this

I'm playing on Nintendo Switch, version 1.16.20, and experienced this issue. My first few attempts where with a beacon at around level 30, and no plan when building it out of gold blocks. When I didn't get the achievement, I tried breaking a few of the blocks of the pyramid, and reassembled again and powered it up. No luck.

After reading this bug report, I made a copy of the world, got a new nether star and gathered up all of the gold blocks needed, and rebuilt the pyramid. Completing each layer from the bottom up, and finally placed the beacon on top and watched the beacon light up. Without me needing to activate anything the achievement then ticked in.

• "The Beaconator" achievement can now be reliably unlocked.

According to 1.16.100.57 changelog this issue is fixed.

Confirming issue is still present in the current release on XB1.
