I build a skeleton xp farm and when I spend 25 minutes of grind xp and drops only 8 bones droped with 100 skeletons droped but arrows and bows is dropes normaly. In nether I killed 20 blazes and get only 1 blaze rod. I don't know other mobs drop items normaly but I only found this issue with skeletons and blazes. My device is Samsung galaxy J7 2017

I have this problem as well in the latest official version, I've tried all sorts of killing methods but the skeletons very rarely drops bones which is odd for this mob, killed like a hundred skeletons and only got one bone.

Agreed. This affects not only skeletons but also spiders. I have killed tons of spiders and only accumulated 4 spider eyes and that is using a Looting III sword. Same with skeletons and throughout game cycle only obtained a handful of bones. It is almost as if Looting does not affect the drops. Conversely, I have killed a bunch of rabbits with a regular stone sword with no enchantments and have obtained 25 rabbits feet, almost one per kill, something that is statistically impossible. Something is definitely wrong with the drops mechanic.

Playing on Samsung Galaxy S6, skeletons not dropping bones, blaze don't drop blaze rods, endermen not dropping ender pearls and phantoms not dropping phantom membrane. Looting 3 enchantment is not working on most mobs.

This is frustrating, being without bones for over a month. If it helps to solve issue at all: I built a general mob farm, in which mobs spawning naturally are killed by magma blocks, not the player. I do seem to be getting bone drops from that, so I suspect it's a killed by player issue.

Actually, disregard last comment. I just did extensive testing on vs player kill and passive kill. Both appeared the same drop rate, both very low on pixel2, but about the same.

This is true, I have same problems on my OnePlus 6 MCPE. I've build skeleton xp farm, and actually I get pity amounts of bones, while a lot of unnecessary bows. Please fix it, because it ruins my whole gameplay.

Version 1.0.7.13 on a Pixel2. Right after update all of a sudden bones were dropping just fine. I've been playing for a while now and all of a sudden drops are messed up again. Endermen hardly drop pearls, zombie pigmen stopped flesh and gold bars, skeletons stopped bones. I've tried with and without looting3 sword. Neither works.

Something to look into that may attribute: check if mob cap has effect. My entities are usually full due to an infinite villager spawner. Maybe this effects drop entity rates?

My last comment tentatively confirmed on my end.
I finally got a thunderstorm, turned villagers to witches and killed them all, freeing up entity cap. I then went to skeleton farm and they were dropping bones again. I also checked pigmen farm, which is way outside of simulation distance, and they started dropping flesh again.
For anyone else with this problem: try freeing up entity cap (killing mobs, extra villagers, cows, cave lighting, etc.) Apparently simulation distance doesn't matter, there's some kind of world entity cap.

You say your skeletons are dropping nothing at all, while in this ticket the skeletons were reported to be dropping normally, except for bones. In addition, this ticket was closed when its reporter and other commenters above confirmed that it was fixed in 1.7.0.
If you are actually getting some drops, but no bones, please comment below so we can reopen this ticket.
