Downloading the music pack from the store and re-opening the game still cause crasbes no matter what. For example, I download the music pack and open up a world or realm to play on a while. I quit and close the game later and re-open it. After reaching the Minecraft loading screen I crash. It continuously happen.
EDIT: A YT link to reproduce the bug and is more descripted. Note that while trying to record I found additional info to the bug. Using a skin before or even after downloading the music pack will cause it to crash. IF you close the game and open it up again!

Thanks for the extra information and video. I've written out the repro steps that you've mentioned, does this cover it all?
Clear the Minecraft app data
Launch Minecraft on Android and sign into XBL
Download the music pack from the store
Close Minecraft and swipe from recent apps
Launch Minecraft
Equip a custom skin (Does choosing an official skin make a difference here?)
Open a world, and stay in the world for 5 seconds
Exit the world
Close Minecraft and swipe from recent apps
Launch Minecraft
I've tried these steps but couldn't reliably get the game to crash at the Minecraft logo - are you able to reproduce this every time, or do you have any more information about what could be triggering it? (eg the skin you are choosing?)

Sorry for the late reply, but i'll go test this. As far as I know I'm able to reproduce this many times. Steps 1-4 doesn't even have to occur for the bug to be reproduced for me. I can just clear data or re-install Minecraft and go from step 6. This will cause the bug to occur for me again.

Alright. I tested with an official skin this time.
I cleared the Minecraft app data reinstall (no difference here)
Launch Minecraft on Android and signed into XBL.
Download rhe music pack from the store.
Close Minecraft and swipe from recent apps.
Launch Minecraft again (no crash)
Equip a beach party pack from the store (official skin this time)
Open the world, and stay in the world for 5 seconds.
Exit the world
Close Minecraft and swipe from recent apps.
Launch Minecraft and no crash.
Now if step 7 didn't occur and I just close minecraft and swipe from recent apps. I would crash 2 times consecutively launching minecraft until the third launch. The crash would not occur at the minecraft logo with the white background, but at the main menu right before it says signing into xbox live. It is like a 2:1 ratio. I crasg 2 times and every third time i launch minecraft I don't crash. Note this only happens if step 7 doesn't occur. I found a way to bypass the crash with the official skin on. Before the game crash right when it starts signing you into xbox live. You quickly press the play, achievement, or any orher button in the main menu. This prevents the crash.
Other than that. Using a skin from gallery or from files in your device will crash the game at the minecraft logo with white packground.

So are you saying that the game only crashes if you are using a custom skin? If so, could you add the skin here so we can see if that is the cause of the issue?

Yes using my custom skin caused the crashing. Using an official one from the beach party set in store didn't.

I dropped the custom skin in. Note that using this custom skin and others didn't crash with the music pack before 1.5. Worked on 1.4. perfectly.

As of the release of Minecraft 1.5.2 on Android. I've stopped crashing! I'm using the custom skin I dropped in the attachments area! I followed the steps to reproduce the bug yet I haven't crashed (yes using the music pack with the custom skin doesn't any more for some reason).

This is very likely to be the same issue as MCPE-35078, but we can track this issue too if players have more information.
For players using 1.8.x or higher, Please include a screenshot of the loading screen where it crashes so we can diagnose what is causing the crash.
