Same as MC-116293, but for Bedrock
The recipe book displays a functioning clock and compass. That way, players can see what time is it or in which direction the spawn is without actually crafting a clock or compass.
Steps to reproduce:
Start some world in survival
Open inventory
Turn off the Craftable toggle
Search "clock" or "compass"
What happens: The clock or compass in recipe book normally works
Suggested behavior: The game would show a static version of the item e.g. clock would always show the noon

This is actually not quite a bug, the detail also exists in Java, and I did not even remember that it existed ... Just do not spread this ninja localization technique. : D

I'm well aware of this. However, it has been already reported for Java (many times!). I think if they decide to "fix" it there, it should be also fixed in bedrock.

I don't understand this, didn't you mean location?

This is fixed for the item shown in the crafting menu/creative inventory, but not the item shown in the crafting table output.
PS I actually have version 1.6.0.6 (as you can see in the screenshots) but Jira didn't let me put that into the Affects Version field. I also currently cannot update (slow internet connection).
