Doesn't render sides of water when waterlogged with grass?

I tried to recreate the scenario in your screenshot, but was unable to because when I tried to waterlog the tallgrass nothing happened, and when I waterlogged the grass block it was on the tallgrass just disappeared. It may be that something has changed in 1.6.0 to cause this problem either to go away or to need a different description.

Could you please list steps to reproduce this problem, or its equivalent, in 1.6.0? This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.
