The Issue Summary:
Certain blocks aren't destroyed when water flows to its space. These blocks are not waterlogged. These blocks are Levers, Redstone Comparator and Repeaters, Strings, Tripwire Hooks, and End Rods. See the screenshot in attachments for visual evidence.
Reproducing the Bug:
To recreate this issue, place water beside any of these blocks:
Lever
Redstone Comparator
Redstone Repeater
Tripwire Hook
End Rod
String
so that the water flows towards their spaces. Do not waterlog the blocks.
Observed Outcome:
The water flows through the blocks without destroying them.
Expected Outcome:
Normally, the water should destroy the blocks when water flows in their spaces.

Hello! It has been 2 years since this ticket was created. I was not the best back then with my grammar, I did not write a helpful report and I apologize for that. Yesterday, I updated the description to include more explanation of the bug and to add 3 more blocks that are part of the bug, as it is still an issue even in the latest release, 1.16.200.
The behavior described in this report is useful for mob farms and item/xp transport. Repeaters/comparators block squid and baby zombies, and end rods block guardians and squid, all while allowing items and xp to pass. In the past many farms used top slabs over ice to stop small mobs and allow items and xp to pass, but as of 1.16.100 xp gets stuck on top slabs (MCPE-109326) so farms are switching to these βflow-loggableβ blocks instead. Top trapdoors over ice only work in place of top slabs a few blocks downstream of water sources, so in some farm layouts repeaters/comparators and end rods are the only option apart from a complete overhaul of the layout.
An example is a redesign I recently made of Kenneth Duβs overworld-only guardian farm, using end rods to contain guardians while allowing items and xp to be flushed.

With the addition of Dripleaf blocks, this bug also affects both Big and Small Dripleaves. I checked if this behavior exists on MC Java, and the behavior can't be recreated, so I updated the ticket appropriately.
Bjorn: do not edit your reports after they are resolved. It creates a false impression of what Mojang has decided. New issues and new impacts for issues on resovled reports should be described in new reports or in a comment. In this case, water flowing through dripleaf is already tracked separately at MCPE-140222 and MCPE-139018.
I have restored the report description to what it was at the time @unknown resolved it.
Reopened for review.
