When leaving the water while swimming, the player does not jump out if you are moving forward. You get stuck in the block, as if he were trying to jump a wall, and cannot advance. The only way to get out of water in this state is to:
stop moving forward
stop jumping
look upward
How to reproduce
Enter a large area of water with a shore.
Sprint to start swimming, and move forward while holding space (jump).
Keep your camera relatively level with the horizon.
β β Β You aren't exiting the water, despite holding jump, even when approaching the shore.Release forward or jump, or aim your camera high, and you will finally exit the water.

I have the same problem on Pocket Edition as I cannot leave the water once Iβm in it

Same issue on Bedrock for PS4. You have to exit sprint/swim mode to leave water. Β Legacy Console Edition contextually recognised that the shore was in front of the player and allowed you to jump and continuing sprinting on land.

I can confirm it's on the PS4 Bedrock Edition (1.14.1 Hotfix)

Fixed in 1.15.0.51.

Fixed for 1.16.
Resolving issues that were marked as fixed in the 1.15 and 1.16 Betas, now that 1.16.0 is being released.
Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been temporarily closed as Awaiting Response
Can you please provide a video of the issue?
(It sounds as though you need to look up to move up and out of the water, which would make sense.)
