So recently I started working on a massive iron farm build and yesterday i attempted to start a villiager breeding farm i have made dozens of these before all using the same popular videos on youtube. Example. Small 10×9 area fenced off with a villiager 5 blocks below in a room full of doors exposed to sunlight. Normally that model would work. It doesnt anymore. After afking over night the 3 villiagers I had moved to my breeder actually despawned. Even with names. I play on peaceful mode so no mobs. I was afkd right next to them. Also attempted to make a creative mode and try various other methods for villiager farms and none of my sample versions work as well. If anyone can tell me the issue I am having is it because of the recent update? Or a different problem I would greatly apprciate it.

I have also noticed but only as of v 1.9.0. I had a farm and house set up to have local villagers. I noticed they could pick seeds up but didn't actively seek them anymore, and they wouldn't work their crops. I went to a nearby village and it was the same. All the villagers moved around but didn't tend to any crops.
If you are still experiencing this problem, it looks to me like the most likely explanation is that the game is not recognizing any village. A village is a prerequisite for either iron golems spawning or villagers becoming willing. The game recognizes a village by finding a valid door within range of a villager. So either your doors are not valid, or they are not being detected by a villager.
Some things you might want to check are:
Is there at least one door whose bottom half is within 16 blocks horizontally and 4 blocks vertically of a villager?
Does at least one door have a different number of blocks with sky access on each side? Sky access means a block is open to the sky. The blocks tested for sky access are the 5 blocks in front of and behind the bottom block of the door (closed), not including the block it's on.
Are all of the doors oak? Due to MCPE-33751, doors made of other species of wood will usually not be considered valid doors.
For iron golems, is there anywhere they can spawn? Iron golems can spawn on solid blocks with 3 blocks of space above them, but they can't spawn in a water source block (flowing water is ok) or on a waterlogged block.
Are there at least 10 villagers in the village? Villagers over 64 blocks from the center will probably not be within the village. To test a villager, throw a snowball at them; if they display anger particles (little lightning bolts in red and yellow) they're in a village, otherwise they aren't. But a villager only shows anger particles after you've opened their trading interface the first time, so do that first if you haven't.

Also there a no other doors anywhere remotely nearby 500+ blocks of no other doors. Villiagers should be "willing" as I also traded with them to max lvl trades and filled there inventory with carrots.
