Open up game but does not go past home screen but rather goes to black screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, hard resetting but nothing has helped. My last ticket was closed because they couldn't help so they marked it as resolved this is disapointing as i paid for the game.

I have experienced a long "black screen" duration right after startup as well. It takes up to 45 to 60 seconds to clear and go to the startup screen with the menu and rotating background. I'm running the Nintendo Switch bedrock version 1.8.1.
