100%CPU usage - choppy but high framerate and audio bugged out.

I have read other articles... this isnt a duplicate and no fixes have been found in the other articles.

MY SPECS

1080ti . i76700k . 32gbs ram 

ISSUE

CPU jumps to 100% in task manager.  my fans go wild like its being really difficult to run which it shouldnt. audio is out of sync. when walking on grass it makes half noises. i turned down all of the settings to lowest possible which made the cpu goto 12% but the audio desync/chopping didnt stop thoguh i was getting really good framerate on avg. 

IVE TRIED

looking into vsync issues, changed install path, lowering settings, reinstalling.

How i fixed this:

I went into the beta insider stuff though that didnt work.

 

i updated windows drivers, fresh installed graphics drivers, and deleted java windows. works now...

Cancel that. it just suddenly started again when coming back from another game

I appear to have the same issue.

Walking around isn't too bad, my CPU usage sits at about 20%, CPU at 20-30%... but the moment I try to use Elytra my CPU usage skyrockets to 100% constantly. FPS is terrible, sound is choppy and weird. The only fix is to lower the render distance to the lowest setting (16?).

i7-6700k, 1080ti, 32GB RAM

Java works better for me go figure. I'd love to switch but this is a dealbreaker.

Edit: Have also tried the 1.13 beta, no fix.

My cpu isn't very good so it runs at around 70% but spikes to 100% a lot and I see frame rate drops. If I run in a straight line it seems to stutter pretty regularly like its loading.

No problem with sound.

Can I get a refund and switch to java? Hah

Maybe if you have any addons/behaviors/resource packs check for errors in those, or maybe try doing a clean reinstall of the game - who knows maybe it would help
