When using nether portals the player is in the world (thus can be killed) while still on the "generating world" screen. This takes quite a while, and results in situation where the player dies without any way to avoid it. Due to the ridiculous snapping of nether portals (several to dozens of chunks) the player must travel a great distance to make a new portal in hopes of recovering items, etc.Β

I put it in BDS because it's only been an issue with BDS, never when playing Bedrock only - it's as if the server isn't prefetching the chunk you'll be loading into. No idea which side causes the problem, so that was just my best guessΒ
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.
