I exited out of Minecraft using the home button on my iPad, I went back in and the blocks were only purple and black. I closed Minecraft and went back in, and it was fine again.
I sent some photos, a few of what it’s supposed to look like, and some of the glitch.
I’m just a confused, and a bit freaked out.

This happens with some texture packs. They glitch out when you exit the game and are broken when you re-enter. This bug isn't permanent and is almost always a result of the pack you're using.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

The purple and black block texture is usually an example of an unknown/corrupted block, but this is just a theory however. Mostly common in blocks with a texture that Minecraft can't render.
