I just downloaded 1.11 for switch as it just became available and I loaded up my world that I have been using for months. I have a village beside my house and I was under the impression that after the update they would have changed to the new villagers (as is stated in the change log) however when I arrived at the village, all villagers had the old brown farmer skin despite the fact not all of them were farmers (one was a cleric for example) and they had a visible badge for their trade level despite being the old textures. I then tried to trade as I usually would and nothing would happen. Not even a bit of loading lag or anything, just nothing happened and the villagers would walk around like I’m not clicking on them. I went and found a new villager for the world so it would be newly generated. All the villagers there work fine and are able to trade so I think the problem is just with the old ones in already existing worlds.

These villagers aren't farmers. They're unemployed. The base layer for the plains villagers looks just like the old farmer skin. You need job sites for them to have jobs again.
