So when I launch my game on bedrock edition, I join with my default Minecraft skin (Alex or Steve), this happens all the time when I launch Minecraft, I don't usually change it till I'm in my friends world. But when I changed my skin (Custom skin) in the menu before joining, I joined my friends server and my character has reset itself. Is this just another way to create "2" accounts/characters? I closed Minecraft and joined with default skin and I got everything back, but before I did that I worked on my "2nd" character when I joined my friends game and lost everything on the other skin, Fix ASAP. After changing skins in the menu to the custom skin, this causes pets to not recognize the owner.

This isn't a duplicate of MCPE-32089.
If you read the issue, this is a description of inventory resetting to an empty state when joining a multiplayer game after changing your skin.
May be a duplicate of MCPE-55815, or it may be a separate issue. I made a comment on that thread and I seem to be the only one noticing that it is related to skins. Changing player skins causes the multiplayer host to not recognize the player as the same player from the previous gameplay session. Changing skins creates a new separate instance of a player in the game, when a player should always be the same even if their skin changes.
