(Bedrock Edition, Xbox One)
I logged into my single player survival world and a majority of the mobs (hostile and not) are invisible. They are still THERE, I can see their shadow on the ground and they still interact with the world (i.e. they can catch on fire, splash in water, eat grass, attack, and I can the enderman's purple dust, etc.), but they are just not visible.
Wolves and horses are the only mobs visible as far as I can tell.
In addition, there is a black shape "hovering" over my character, hindering my view in two opposite directions, it appears as a massive blocky shape over my head in 3rd person. It's also there in first person. It's not always there, just when I am turned a certain way, but very distracting. My paperdoll in the corner shows no object hindering my view. I changed my skin, but that didn't fix it.
This issue goes away if I turn on peaceful mode.
So I created a new world. Same issue. I checked my other existing worlds, same issue.
My worlds are purely vanilla, so I added a different texture to see if that would fix it, but to no avail.
I tried changing my rendering distance, texture pack, all that, but nothing seems to work.
I'm not sure which version I'm using due to my TV cutting off that info, but I first noticed it yesterday (7/11/19)
