Health bar sometimes doesn't flash white when you take damage or heal

When you take damage the health bar now flashes (still only once not twice) after losing a heart. Not half-a-heart. A heart. This means that if you were constantly taking damage, the health bar will now only flash three times for every ONE heart you lose, and then it stops flashing after that. This does not happen you regain health. Previously (as represented in the video) randomly the hearts would flash after regaining one health point or half a heart. Now, it doesn't do this at all. The hearts still rhythmically dip down to visually show that the player is regenerating but there is no flashing at all when it happens.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a world in Creative mode.

  2. Give yourself the Poison effect.

  3. Watch the health bar slowly losing health then remove the effect, observe it again as you slowly heal.

Expected result: The health bar should flash white every time you lose or gain health like on Java Edition.

Observed result: The health bar rarely ever flashes white.

Happy to see that someone else noticed this. Please get this fixed Mojang it’s been driving me crazy ever since I noticed it.

This issue and the issue where the hot bar is off center by like 1 pixel drive me crazy. I don’t understand how nobody seems to notice. This stuff has been an issue for months across all bedrock platforms.

This bug also affects 1.16.0.61, After further testing, this bug has changed since this report was made and therefore the description for this bug is no longer accurate. In the current beta as of testing in 1.16.0.61 when you take damage the health bar now flashes (still only once not twice) after losing a heart. Not half-a-heart. A heart.
