Player Puppet: can still be able to replicate what you hold in either your offhand or mainhand; and can wear armor as well. But cannot be able to do player animations such as eating, sprinting, swimming, walking, sneaking, etc.
Player: does not seem to be affected by this problem.

Animation Controllers fail to work, or is either running in the background; and/or
For an unknown reason

Tested in 1.14.1 on Windows 10.
It appears that the Paper Doll is hidden whenever the player is standing on the ground, sitting in a boat or minecart, or riding a mount. It is visible only while the player is sprinting, crouching, swimming, or flying. If the paper doll is visible when the player eats, it shows the eating animation. This behavior occurs in either Creative or Survival mode.
I'm not sure whether the paper doll being invisible when you're standing is working as intended. However, everything else seems to be working normally in 1.14.1. Are you still able to reproduce this problem?

I'd say that the paper doll disappearing is working as intended, because it was like that in the Legacy Console Editions.

I also have this issue and when playing on Splitscreen, somehow the character animations are frozen.
