Summary:
When you're in the inventory of a horse, donkey, mule, or llama, the mob's model itself stays still instead of looking at the controller pointer, but not your mouse cursor.
Repro Steps:
Open horse's inventory.
Move your controller pointer.
If you have a mouse, use the mouse to move around in the inventory.
Observe and compare the results.
Observed Results:
The horse model does not look at your controller pointer at all.
Expected Results:
The horse model should look at the controller pointer instead of staying still.

Still an issue according to MCPE-108080.
I don’t understand why the “expected result” would be expected. I always thought the player model moves b/c the mouse controls the player’s view angle and the model just reflects that. I see no reason to think there is any coding or special behavior intended for the inventory screen, and I see no reason why the player view control should move the model of an animal just b/c you have it’s inventory open. The model just reflects the mob’s positioning in the world, is my understanding and expectation.
On legacy console edition it does properly look to the cursor
[media]and since this works properly in the player inventory on bedrock, it should also look at the cursor in the horse inventory.
