The console edition crafting interface had information that is vital to making the experience easy for newcomers like my parents when playing Minecraft. Here is the missing features that console edition had that bedrock don't have: Pressing R2 would give information that would tell you about the item before you craft it, the required items filling up the crafting square space would become red on some of the slots that didn't have the material you needed, and there should be an option for the console edition crafting interface since that one was bigger and easier to understand compared to bedrocks pc like crafting menu.

This is working as intended. The helpful tips are a legacy console edition exclusive to that platform. It's just a missing feature on the Bedrock code base.
Corentin Buisson, thank you for your input but I do think its a bug due to it not following the console edition. If I buy a game and its next update just removed features I used then the developer is ripping you off. Wouldn't it suck if you booted up your mario games and mario just didnt do some of things he did?
Euwill Euusebio, thank you for your input and I'm thankful you all are replying to this but I still think it isn't working as intended if the game I bought isn't working for the stuff I paid for.

Yeah I don't think it's a bug but it's clearly missing that feature ^^
