if you get an error code for example 0x803F8001 could you please post it here it would help solve the issue

the reason that you are stuck in fly on the realm is because you are in spectator mode you can switch back to survival with the command /gamemode surival if you are admin on that account. if not you can run the command /gamemode surival [insert playername] on the admin account both account have to be online at the same time for this to work. it could also be that you pc account is just not athourized to join in survival mode that can be changed by the admin. the admin account is the account the realms was created by

do both minecraft accounts run over the same email?

try clearing the cache of the microsoft store or try reinstalling it

try reinstalling the launcher that fixes the issue most of the time

Corentin Buisson, thank you for your input but I do think its a bug due to it not following the console edition. If I buy a game and its next update just removed features I used then the developer is ripping you off. Wouldn't it suck if you booted up your mario games and mario just didnt do some of things he did?

Rayth, this is a bug due to it not following console editions rules. Video games have to be consistent and follow the rules they set for themselves. Would you enjoy your classic games like super mario 64 just randomly spawning goombas instead of them having their same rules as before?

Could this be reopened, as it is not a duplicate of MC-91136? As explained in the comments of MC-91136, that one is caused by light updates not being processed immediately, while this here is caused by sections that only contain light (but no blocks) not being sent to the client at all (see https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/3891 for a possible fix)

This bug has already been fixed: To reproduce this precise issue, use version 14w21b and do the following:

• Place a torch

• Clone a large area (~4000 blocks) of air onto the torch

• The light is still there, even after relogging
