[MCPE-60894] villagers act like idiots and wont trade

every village i go to i can not trade with the villagers.

in my own village i am having the same issue. also my iron golem are attacking me and i have not hit them or the villagers?

Does the villagers have a profession? Unemployed/nitwit villagers don't offer trades.

Sounds like your popularity has gotten very low, that causes them to not trade and iron golems to attack you. Look under mechanics, popularity here: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Village.

I thought popularity wasn’t implemented on Bedrock? I know gossip and Hero of the Village aren’t.

Hero of the Village sure is, if you mean the status effect from defeating a raid and the trade discounts that gives you. Gossip is not but idk what difference that makes except to the iron golem spawning mechanic.

My bad. Bedrock has a limited version of Hero of the Village, and I misunderstood all the [Java Edition Only] tags on the wiki to mean Bedrock didn’t have the feature at all.
