I joined the Beta on March 17, 2020. But today, I wanted to join my Cousin in a World, so I tried to leave the Beta Programm, successless. Please remove that Bug!

One of our mods was having the same problem leaving the 1.16 Beta, with the exactly symptoms described a few days ago in a comment to MCPE-33270. He says it has now resolved itself (at least partly), so anybody having this problem might want to try again.
With the current burden on the world wide internet infrastructure being higher than normal, network timeouts might be more common than usual and could be causing this problem as well.

Happy to see your warning Auldrick, it worked for me as well! Feeling dumbish after the long time I spent trying to solve this issue at my own for it to be now fixed by itself, but glad that its actually over so I can finally leave the beta version.
Thank you!

Minecraft Bedrock does not permit a non-beta and beta user on the same PC.

Got the same problem, but instead, my minecraft for windows 10 came with beta automatically. Trying to opt out, restart and etc doesnt work. Tried several times

I am experiencing the same issue except with the RTX version of the beta

I am experiencing this exact issue. I have my account and my two children's accounts set up in a family plan, although they've never played Minecraft on this PC.
I joined the RTX beta through Xbox Insider Hub last night. I did have to wait quite a while in the "pending" state for it to update. Insider Hub then opened my Windows Store and started the download. RTX looks great but I wanted to get back to the Realm I share with my kids.
This is what Xbox Insider looks like now:
[media]It no longer shows me as enrolled in anything and clicking unenroll does nothing.
I've tried all the "usual" methods mentioned in this post as well as https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-33270

This report is obsolete since the release of 1.16. Since it was never confirmed to be a distinct issue, I am resolving it as a duplicate of MCPE-33270.
Please see MCPE-33270 for some things you can try to solve this problem. However, we're looking at the possibility that this is a new bug, caused by the "leaving the Beta" logic trying to revert you to 1.15 (which doesn't exist in app stores) instead of 1.14.0.30. Stay tuned for updates.
