Inventory stops working until it is closed & reopened

Are you sure that's not a hardware problem with your mouse? I've been having trouble click+dragging recently and I think either my mouse needs a new battery, or some accessibility feature got turned on by mistake, or this computer & mouse is just getting to old.

im also having this issue on my pc, its so annoying, i should close and open my inventory to use items. Im also dont know how it works.

It's not a problem with my hardware because it happens, i can't move any item, but when i close the inventory and open it again it just works normaly.

This has been happening to me continuously ever since I started playing Windows 10 Edition nearly a year ago. Literally almost every time I am in my inventory, a crafting GUI, villager trading GUI, etc. for more than a few seconds, it freezes up and the items become unclickable and unmovable until I close and reopen the GUI. It's extremely common and extremely obnoxious.

Here are some questions that might help narrow this down, if anyone can answer:

1. Are you playing full-screen or windowed?

2. When the inventory is non-responsive, are you able to close with with the mouse, or do you have to use the keyboard (Esc key) to close it?

3. What is your mouse model?

4. Are you using Windows mouse drivers or brand-specific mouse drivers?

5. Is anyone having this problem in a beta version?

1. I am played always in fullscreen mode, dont checked if its work in windowed mode also.

2. When i am using pc i am always use (e) key to open and close inventory, not checked with mouse or using (Esc), but with (E) key all works fine, inventory opens and close without problem.

3. Im tryed with Esperanza mouse, dont know the exact model, common cheap mouse, also checked with other cheap mouse, Logitech common mouse for offices.

4. Windows mouse drivers only

5. Not yet, im dont played on new beta a lot.

3. no, its not my texture pack or mouse, this bug still exists without any pack, i used my cheap home logitech mouse, i have no problems with it at all, in java all works fine

We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version.

It's disappointing that this ticket was closed because this is still 100% an issue. I am completely sure that it's not a problem with my hardware, though I wonder if it's something to do with the way Windows 10 Edition interacts with my computer in some more subtle way. Anyway, it's still happening to me. It's been happening to me for over a year.

As all the other people that commented before me, I also hope this ticket is reopened. While this is an issue I couldn't reproduce immediately, I can say this happens often enough to be noticeable and, in some cases, annoying.

It is not an issue with my hardware either: this never happens on Java edition.
