I think that's just the compass textured in a weird colour and the purple glint of the enchantment is making it appear blue. But regardless, I can confirm this affect's 1.16.059.
This bug is not intended, and also very easy to fix. All the developers need to do is use the same textures for the compass and the lodestone compass:
--> copy the textures of compass_atlas and compass_item in the vannila resource pack, delete the *lodestonecompass_atlas and lodestonecompass_item and rename the copy of the textures of compass_atlas and compass_item to lodestonecompass_atlas and lodestonecompass_item. Doing that will also bring additional parity with java edition, beacuse the blue enchantment glint and the outdated texture issue will also be fixed fix of lodestonecompass_atlas ->
[media]fix of lodestonecompass_item ->
[media]Edit: the blue enchantment glint texture is beacuse the lodestone compass appear to have a shade of green in its texture.
I honestly think the blue compass looks so cool, and I dont want it removed. Instead, Java should have its texture updated.
Actually, it's not the glint; bedrock uses a blue-ish compass texture instead of the normal one.
