Summary:
Soul fire melts ice/snow when they shouldn't be.
Steps to Reproduce:
Light soul sand/soil on fire
Place ice and snow next to the soul fire
Increase the randomtickspeed (to speed up the process)
Observed Results:
Soul fire melts ice and snow.
Expected Results:
Soul fire should not melt ice and now.

Looks like its been resolved for the specific scenario shown in the attached video (where the fire is 1 block higher than the ice) but not for the scenario where the fire is level with the ice (shown below).
[media]Confirmed Java behaviour is that it shouldn't melt under either scenario.
Edit: In testing on previous versions to try and work out when it was fixed, it appears the melting shown in OcelotOnesie's video only happens during the lighting of the flame (presumably for the brief moment normal fire was shown instead of soul flame). With the fix in .63 to not show normal flame its resolved that issue. However the parity break of soul flame melting ice around it still exists.

Fire is still fire. When cold blocks like you said get heated by any heat source block they have to get melted.
