Ancient Debris is destroyed in fire and lava

What I expected to happen was...:
Ancient debris should be fire proof as it is in Java

What actually happened was...:
Ancient Debris is destroyed in Fire

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Light a fire

  2. Throw in some Ancient Debris
Notice it burns and is destroyed

Notes:

  • Java has the ancient debris just chilling in fire

Original Description
I went Netherite mining in the Nether as usual, and towards the end of my trip, I noticed I was 1 Ancient Debris short from what I was mining. I went to quickly test, by throwing one of the Ancient Debris into a nearby fire. I put out the fire, and no Ancient Debris. If this happens with Ancient Debris, I’m scared that this might also work with the Netherite gear.

Same from here, I'm founded 2 ancient debris, but only 1 can successfully taken, 1 was just disappear.

I think this should have the tag parity-issue, but not sure.

DelightfulHam You mean the vanilla-parity label, right? This label would make sense, because it is a parity issue.
Edit: It already has the vanilla-parity label.

Still present in 1.16. I was mining, and there was lava falling from the roof. I placed a block to stop the lava, and as it was slowly disappearing, I mined 2 ancient debris, both of which I saw fall into the lava expecting that it should be fine because they aren't supposed to be destroyable by lava, but when the lava fully disappeared, I realized it burned my ancient debris. I saved a video if needed.

This is also the case with netherite tools and armors. They burn in lava and fire. And this is bug is present only in realms and servers. It did not occur in single player worlds.

@KaiFireborn it is not. That’s a server issue. In basic singleplayer, netherite items won’t burn, yet ancient debris will. I would know since I threw in the first ancient debris I found in fire to test it. Then I checked for netherite in creative.

Tested and confirmed for 1.16.0.

EDIT: Was supposed to attach file but it was too big. Will try again

It’s fixed? Awesome! That’s the first bug I followed that’s gotten fixed!

I mean, it was kind of obvious it WAS going to get fixed, because it’s a huge deal. But still cool to see myself.

Still burns i tested this today

this needs to get fixed on 1.16.20 versions. leaving it will be pointless.
