Bells would not be able to place underneath some blocks. Since Java snapshot 20w22a added this to work, this should be in parity with Bedrock Edition.

While the bell generates under the smooth sandstone slab for desert Village meeting point 3, when I tried to build it in creative by hand, the bell won't place from my inventory on the underside of said slab like it naturally generates. I am on Bedrock edition 1.14.60 on a Android tablet.
