TNTs disappear when they are shot with a flaming arrow or trident and "TNT Explodes" is off

Steps to reproduce

  1. Turn off the "TNT Explodes"

  2. Place a dispenser facing into lava.

  3. Put arrows or tridents in the dispenser.

  4. On the other side of the lava, place a TNT block.

  5. Activate the dispenser.

Expected result

The flaming arrow/trident lodges in the TNT block, and nothing happens to the block itself.

Actual result

The TNT block disappears.

I was playing with Arrows and TNT just for fun, and found this strange bug. Even when I was shooting from large distances it occurred

I'm not able to reproduce this.

Can you provide steps to reproduce on a new world?

Confirmed in 1.17.11 Hotfix.

Affects 1.17.40.20

Does "turn off" in this case mean setting TNTExplodes to False? When TNTExplodes is set to False, TNT disappears instantly also when using Flint&Steel.

This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

Yes, I was referring to the toggle in the settings UI, but you can also use the gamerule to set it to "false".

Partially fixed in 1.18.30.20 Beta, when using Flint and Steel.
