Opening and closing your inventory crashes your game on servers

What I expected to happen was...:
Inventory should open and close normally.

What actually happened was...:
Opening the inventory while on a featured server crashes the game.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Connect to a featured server

  2. Open and close the inventory rapidly

  3. Game crashes

If you spam click "e" or any button set for opening and closing your inventory the game will crash. (Tapping you inventory button quickly is recommended)

When you say servers are you talking about joining someones game in multiplayer?

Servers aren't available in BETAs.

NetherNinja

No, I mean servers, specifically cubecraft, mineplex, and the hive WHICH ARE INDEED AVAILABLE on the betas. Try them and see!

Thanks NetherNinja.

Servers shouldn't be available when not playing the release version so this is likely more an issue with being able to connect to a server running old code rather than an issue with the inventory specifically.

Regardless, will raise it and see what comes back.

[Mod] LateLag

Thanks for everything you do Ecko, but servers are meant to be available in whichever version the host sets it to be. The Realms service, on the other hand, is unavailable on non-release versions.

Most partnered servers don't usually open for beta users, but most of them do when the version is nearing official release.

if I keep my inventory open to much and move things around and back and forth, my game stalls and I have to exit out and start again,

@netherninja please add how the inventory lags when you try and open it in the case that it doesnt crash. It seems to require a server side check even though inventory opening should be client-side.
