upon creating beds to mine for Ancient debris, i was rapid clicking to hurry up the process. now any inventory i go into now shows a bed where the arrow is supposed to be. it will not allow you to pick up other items but you can fast transfer. it will not allow you to drop the bed. you will have to restart the game and go into inventory and drop outside the menu.
steps to reproduce
collect wool and wood planks
go to crafting bench
craft beds holding SHIFT and rapid clicking the bed

Hope this gets fixed soon. Was on a multiplayer game - other people playing in my world. I could not disconnect without booting them. I couldn't get the iron pickaxe off my pointer to interact with anything until I killed my avatar and the item was ejected.
— Was saving for enchants and was at level 28. *sigh* All that work wasted.
Happened to me with stone picks, multiple times. Exiting and re-loading the world was the only way I found to get my mouse cursor back. Still a problem on the current vanilla build of Minecraft, on Windows 10.
Is it because when you drop the bed, another bed item entity is nearby so you pick that one up instead?
This also is a problem in 1.19.63.
Also affects 1.19.70.
If you craft an entire inventory of what you're crafting, (example: gold nuggets into gold ingots), and you quick craft two (2) more times, gold ingots get stuck to the cursor. The "2 more times" quick craft needs to be done quickly, as in the speed of a double click. If you click slowly, no items get stuck to the cursor.
As an aside, if there is items stuck to the cursor and you attempt to use the crafting grid, either the crafting table or personal, for a split second while clicking or click dragging, you can see an item in the output slot. In my case, a gold nugget or a gold pressure plate, respectively.
Does this only happen on a realm or can you reproduce it in a local copy of the world?
