When going into the portal, the game loads into the old nether. Not letting the player see/explore the new nether update.
Expected Result:
Player goes into the portal and is taken to the new nether update.
Actual Result:
Player goes into the portal and is taken to old nether.
How to reproduce:
I'm not very sure how to recreate this because this is affecting one world.I have provided a picture
This is a big bug because this has an affect on how the player can finish or complete the game with all materials.

Yes. But shouldn’t it still update with the game? That world took three months to do, I really don’t want it to go to waste.
If they updated with the game, you would lose stuff you had previously placed in the nether. This is not a bug. If you want the new nether, go further out to chunks which were never loaded.
Thank you for your report! However, the behavior you've described is Working As Intended, so this report will be closed without taking action.
As explained above, when Mojang makes changes to world generation it does not affect chunks that have already been generated because that would destroy whatever you had already done in those chunks. To see the new biomes and structures, you will need to explore into new parts of the world (or start a brand new world, of course).
If the chunks were loaded before 1.16 then they wont have 1.16 features.
