Every time I wanted to add my friend and it just sent me back to my home page, it didn’t happen in the past. And I even restarted my phone and log out then log in, but it didn’t work.

We have the same problem. Deleted app and reinstalled lost all of my son’s worlds and he still can’t play with friends. He’s devastated!!!

I’m unable to reproduce this in 1.17.11. Pressing the add friend button opens the UI normally now so I think this ticket can be closed.
Multiple reports (some from the Mojira discord) that this is no longer reproducible in 1.17.11.
So resolving as Fixed in 1.17.11
