If a netherite item is placed inside of a shulker box and then this shulker box falls into lava the netherite item gets deleted, even though netherite is immune to lava and fire.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Get a netherite item
2. Place it inside of a shulker box
3. Collect the shulker box
4. Throw the shulker box into lava
Expected results:
Shulker box should get burned but the netherite item should float up
Observed results:
Both the shulker box and the netherite item get burned and deleted.

Mojang decides whether it is a bug or not and this clearly is a bug, since this will be fixed for java in the next snapshot.
I heavily doubt Mojang sat down and decided that it's good game design that just because fireproof items are in a non fireproof container that the fireproof items all the sudden stop being fireproof. It's clear now since the Java ticket got fixed, but it was still pretty clear before.
Your fireproof items just get stuck in the other dimension, since the “gate” it self is non fireproof container.😃 If you need more information on that one, you can find some videos on youtube where Neil deGrasse Tyson talks about 4D😃 If mojang thinking this way, then it’s not a bug😃
Mojang has reported this issue to their internal tracker in July last year, and this has become a parity issue with the fix of MC-176615 since December last year (the Java Edition no longer has this affect; items pop out of shulker boxes when burned in the other game). Assuming that Mojang plans to implement a fix similar to the one currently in the Java Edition, your alternate reasoning of the current Bedrock Edition mechanics is not required.
Also, this is not a community forum. Comments should add information to diagnose the ticket so, if an issue in the game is discovered, that it will be addressed by Mojang.
