The last update removed the option to not download resource packs/addons from servers
1.6.0 has two options to Download & join or just Join and then its not download anything
1.6.1 start download everything instantly
and if i join i don't see the character creator skins i don't know its because of an addon or something else

This happens even with server.properties/texturepack-required=false
I have seen the request dialog appear at least once since the update, but it has taken multiple cycles of cancelling and reconnecting to get it to work.
To be clear, this happens when the texturepacks are NOT forced.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
