The filesize for the save data keeps growing. It does not get smaller upon deletings worlds or ressources. This leads to being unable to load the game or increases load times up to hours.

Reopening to resolve as a duplicate of MCPE-62708, since the description mentions very long load times.

This is a Save File issue. All game data, including world saves, skins and skin downloads, world downloads, and resource packs are using the same "Game Data Save File" on the Nintendo Switch, which has a maximum file size of 2GB. Upon loading the file, the Switch has unpack it to load the contents. The game is not probably deleting any information in "Game Data Save File." I would recommend fixing this issue, or limiting local world generation size to legacy world sizes only and only allow infinite world generation to Realms only. Or try to find a way to work with Nintendo to remedy the file size issue
Ridiculous bug, Iβve hit 2.0GB and have to wait 20mins (And even an hour one time) for my game to boot up. Donβt get me started on the load times for worlds which take up to again, 20 mins. I have tried everything to try and reduce the save data size but it stays at 2.0GB which is the max for Nintendo switch. Β
