Whenever I attempt to sign in to my microsoft account, the game crashes.

The same thing happens to me. I recently got Minecraft for Android. When I clic on the Sign In button in order to log in with my Microsoft/Xbox Live account the Minecraft app just closes. I should be redirected to a page where I can log in but nothing pops up, minecraft just closes.
I contacted Microsoft and they told me my account was fine and that it has something to do with Minecraft. I contacted Minecraft and they told me to submit this as a bug. Another similar issues:

I ran into the same issue this past week. I was finally able to figure out what was causing it for me. I had changed the primary email on my Microsoft account a while back, and hadn't been back in Minecraft Bedrock since then (I had mostly stayed in Java). I went into my Microsoft account and switched my primary email back to the one I originally had when I set up minecraft initially. Lo and behold, I was able to log in!
I'm not sure whose end this issue is on, but at the very least Minecraft doesn't like what Microsoft is providing them when a user has changed their primary email on the microsoft account and then tries to log in. My xbox live profile was identical, the email was all I could find different and in the end that was the fix. Hopefully this helps!
