Realms are not saving backups

I purchased a realm 6/12 and played for almost 6 hours with friends. When we tried logging in today, all our data was wiped. There are no back ups from last night, and when we open the realm, it puts us in an entirely new realm, and all of our stuff is gone.

Please advise if we can get back our realm data.

We cannot address any realm backup / account-related issues via the bug tracker. You would need to contact Minecraft Support for that.

Did you look at all three realm world slots to see if a different one was activated?

Yes, we checked all slots. There were also no back ups saved during the 6 hours. This seems to be an issues for a lot of users after the 1.9 release.

I also put in a ticket with Minecraft support but have heard nothing from them.

Its a problem being worked on, realms are not doing their usual backup, literally almost everyone (including me) is having this problem.

I'm having this problem too. Everyone on Twitter is talking about it. This isn't an isolated incident. This is something the 1.19 update broke and everyone is losing progress when they log out of realms. I have Minecraft Java. It's happening on both platforms.

We are having a similar issue: REALMS-11027 but have they same root cause or might just be related. But sometimes the game does not save

Our realm is still there, but the saves are made very inconsistently. The most recent revert took out 9 hours of game progress. When this happens, several times in a week, the average revert seems to 2 hours. There is no crash prior to this happening. We have players using all platforms that join throughout the day.Β
