All text (letters) and symbols, i.e., asterisks, turn into hashtag symbols as soon as I hit escape to exit labeling the sign. This has been happening for the past few weeks but all older signs did not have this issue and their labels still have text.
I have tried removing the sign and replacing but as soon as I type the text, e.g., ‘Emeralds’, and hit ESC, the letters change to ########
I have tested hanging signs and encountered the same issue.
If I edit an existing sign that was created a month ago and still looks normal, the text changes to # symbols when I exit the sign. All new signs placed today have the # issue.
Expected Result: Signs have text on them
Actual Result: Signs have #### replacing all text
I have plenty of screenshots but this page won’t let me hit ‘Send’ if I attach one or more images. It gets stuck with the little loading wheel spinning for hours.
Environment
Windows Surface Pro Laptop, 64-bit, x64, Graphics Card - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 (128 MB), Firefox browser.

So you're finally paying attention. Took you long enough. A list of words is not quite what the issue is. Things work and then are censored.
Consider the phrase
§lCooper
County
. It is a county with multiple roads coming into it, requiring multiple signs. The first and second signs work fine. But trying to make a third sign with the exact same text results in #'s.
The censoring also acts up when you try to put text on both sides of a sign. One side will usually wind up being censored, no matter what.
It's not a list of words. Your whole censoring thing is broken. Signs are nigh unusable now. Please fix.
