So you're finally paying attention. Took you long enough. A list of words is not quite what the issue is. Things work and then are censored.
Consider the phrase

. It is a county with multiple roads coming into it, requiring multiple signs. The first and second signs work fine. But trying to make a third sign with the exact same text results in #'s.
The censoring also acts up when you try to put text on both sides of a sign. One side will usually wind up being censored, no matter what.
It's not a list of words. Your whole censoring thing is broken. Signs are nigh unusable now. Please fix.
Can confirm. All signs I make now revert to unformatted text immediately upon submitting text. I am in a bedrock realm and have my profanity filter off.
You know, while we're on this topic, I have my profanity filter off and it still filters quite a lot of things that are not even profane. Even things that work once and then are censored the next time I do it.
And I know you think that this issue doesn't exist (MCPE-227847 ) but, it does. Believe me, it does.
How about just giving us an option in the settings to be able to create signs and books without any disappearing formatting (which was happening in some cases before the new update, by the way) or #'s replacing our text? You can call the option “Create Signs and Books Without Shenanigans” (on/off toggle). Just a suggestion. Thanks!
This happens for books AND signs. Signs randomly lose formatting too. And if you try to retype the lost formatting, it typically just censors itself into #'s.
But I know that the #'s are obviously working as intended, that must be why people keeep uploading bug reports about them.
Hey Mega_Spud (Jay) and Ocelot_Onesie, are you sure this formatting loss isn’t working as intended? Maybe you want to review it again? I’m sure you’ll find the correct behavior somewhere in there.
They need to add a toggle or something to turn this worthless thing off.
A good solution to this is to just give us an option to turn off ALL censoring, for EVERYTHING. Because this censoring has gotten out of hand. Just let us turn it off.
