mojang please there are 10 separate complaints with 3 or more upvotes on the same issue that first started cropping up days ago, pay attention to your community that's why this website exists

I think they should have fixed this by the end of this week. I'm seeing many reports. Certainly infuriating!

This issue is incredibly irritating. I just want to add datapacks to my Minecraft Realm. Mojang, please fix this as soon as possible.

I play Minecraft on my Google pixel 3a. When I attempt to upload a world to my realm it shows the export bar then says upload in progress but then nothing happens and then it says error.

I had exactly the same issue. It failed for the first attempt (on Windows) but it worked on the second attempt.

This has happened to me as well and it is very infuriating. I have told all the players on my realm that I am uploading a new one but now I can't. Mojang, PLEASE fix this ASAP. Thank you.

I am having this issues as well. I am trying to upload a world I have downloaded from a friend and keep getting the error message "Upload failed (500)". The world doesn't have any data packs or anything special added on to it. I tried to upload another one of my single player worlds that was created on this computer and it uploaded fine.

That is the same problem with me. I try to upload a world but it gets the same "Upload failed (500)" message. I also don't have any data packs nor special additions. But when I upload a smaller, single-player world without anything on it, I it uploads fine. Additionally, it is a brand new realm.

Just purchased a realm and might refund it because i cant upload my world, please fix this soon.

I just purchased a realms subscription and have the same issue. If this is not fixed I will be cancelling my subscription.

It has been a month and still no update on this? I am getting the same error over and over no matter what I do or slot I use. The single player world I am uploading has nothing special about it. What is the deal?!

Hi, i checked the datapacks but theres nothing in there for the map i selected. I tried uploading previous maps but it doesnt work. I refreshed my internet, nothing. I dont know what to do??

Even tried making a brand new singleplayer survival world, logging in and straight out again then uploading it and it gives the same error
Edit: 10 hours after posting this, it worked. I have no idea if it is something that happens from time to time with the servers or if someone did some work that wasn't posted

I've had the problem as well. I checked the datapacks and there was nothin in there for the map that I had selected. What do we do?

Guys, I was having the same issue, and I found a fix that worked for me. The Realms seem to have a 10 character limit for world names (for NO reason) so make sure that the world you are uploading is renamed to 10 or less characters! Hope this helps.

Wanted to reset parts of my Realm's Nether for 1.16 because we have been playing and exploring for years. I trimmed what I needed to and now Realms won't let me upload it, giving me the same error as everyone else is having. Also, renaming the world to less than 10 characters does not work as a fix.

I've been hitting this for the past few hours, after downloading my Realm's world and removing the DIM-1 folder to reset the nether after updating to 1.16. Upload gets to 100% before failing with a 500 error code, no message. Looking in the world folder, I have a "realms-upload.log", the last line of which is "Validated 1541 files, 1416 accepted, 124 rejected." This prompted me to remove all datapacks in my world, however upload failed for the same reason. After an entire day of struggling to even download my world due to server timeouts, this is beyond frustrating.

Same problem:
Downloaded the world, deleted DIM-1, regenerated the Nether in single player, and tried to re-upload to Realms. No datapacks, the world obviously worked fine before, as well as in single player
Edit: Changing the name to be below 10 characters didn't help

Getting the same error after trying to upload my world to the Realms. Guess will have to wait until a fix is made.

Getting same error after trying to upload single player map we've been working on in anticipation of launching realms server with 1.16 content. Really hope this gets fixed, or It will feel the time we spent playing is down the drain.

I tried again today in 1.16.1 and I did not get the error. It appears the newest update as of 6/24/20 has resolved the problem, for me.

Today I had Bought a Minecraft realm and ran into the same issue. But after retrying to upload and restarting my computer and trying again I managed to finally upload my singleplayer world under the "world save 2" tab. I hope this helps!

I have the same issue when I'm trying to upload a local server world to realms. Playing on 1.16.1.

Managed to fix this around 5 minutes ago by creating a new world in the slot you'd like to upload your single player world to in the realms menu, before uploading it over the previous save. Very annoying and can't seem to find any help from Mojang at all.

I believe that this issue is due an outage, but I am unsure who is to blame. It happened at the exact same time that the Support intake form page went down recently.
