Upload Failed (-1) while trying to upload a world to Realms

Trying to upload an old world that weighs about 0.8GB to our realms server, it's getting consistently stuck at around 5% or 6% when uploading (Error "-1"). This is really odd to me and I have just paid for the membership. I need help, we can't start another world because this one is very important.

I already tried on two PC's, both of which have Minecraft Java Edition (Win 10). I have seen many error 500's online but not a single error "-1". Help!!!

Irritatingly, I've recently started having this problem too and I can't figure out what's wrong.

I was hoping mojang would've responded to this, looks like I'm out of luck.

I'm having this issue now. All the items here say it's resolved, but maybe not?

I have the same issue. I believe it's possibility related to the fact that the world is grown more than 400MB.

I can no longer upload. It fails after the upload and the server crashes. After some time it runs again.

This is extremely annoying... We pay for realms, it's kinda unacceptable to not have core features od the realm not working.

I have the same issue. This is really annoying. My opinion of realms has lowered quite a bit.

IT'S OPTIFINE!!!!

I just had this issue and it was driving me insane. Turns out, if you switch from modded Optifine to the vanilla version, it will work flawlessly. I hope this is a solution to your issue, too.

If that really is the case, then that would make it an invalid bug report due to modified/3rd party content being involved. Although it could also only be optifine causing issues on your end and might not be the same cause for everyone else (in which case it would still be a valid report).

Having this issue trying to upgrade a 1.19.4 realm to 1.20- Initially thought it was due to vanilla tweaks but even trying to upload a totally vanilla file I get the same error message.

It worked for me when I cleared all unused chunks of my world that was 2,7GB with MCA Selector. Now my world is 200MB and it successfully uploaded! I am playing in Java realm
