If you are still not able to access your purchased realm please contact Mojang Support for help. We cannot provide direct assistance via this bug tracker.
Whenever I go to load the settings on one of my realms that has over 10000 members it always takes a super long time to load. Then it gives me the error message "Failed to retrieve realm information. Please try again later." This issue did not start until the 1.13 update around 2 months ago and has been persistent ever since. I can change the realm name by going to the realms club. If I tried to do it from the settings it would be next to impossible. I know this might sound odd but I have only been able to access the realm settings at really weird times. It seems anytime that the realm is completely empty of players and it is past 12pm EST I have about a 1/50 chance of getting into the settings. I also own 2 other realms on different accounts that have around 4000 members with no issue getting into the realm settings. On the account with over 10k members in a realm, I was also able to start a subscription for a new realm & open the settings of the new realm no problem. After testing out to see that it was in fact the realm with over 10k members that had an issue connecting to settings, I am of the impression it is the player count that is causing the issue. I have spoken to other realm owners who have more than 10k members and some who have less than 10k members and they are having the same problem. My guess is any realm around 8k members are likely to experience the realm settings issue. I would really love to know what can be done to fix this, thank you for messaging me back I appreciate it
sincerely, Noah (xAcer94x)

i am experiencing the same issue my one realm has over 10k and for quite some time I have noticed I have not been able to access the setting to make any changes this is a major issue and needs to be addressed. as far as the format its very simple click the pencil icon and it never allows access to the realm management screen then kicks you out.
(Updated I attempted over 100 times to open the menu on both console and on my laptop to at least download the world to no prevail. This needs to be fixed why has this not been addressed.)
UPDATED!!! Had to remove over 2k members from the club to be able to access the realm management page . Why is this still being ignored like we are paying for a service so fix this already
I've been trying to open the realm settings for 16 days but it doesn't work, please fix it quickly, I have over 10k players on the realm and if I want to update the map I have to go into the realm settings,i also found out this only happen if u have more than 8.5k member on the realm

Experiencing the same issue. Trying to access my realm on my Switch and it will only load the first world, but not the second.
My issue is similar but for only a 10-player realm. My friend and I kept getting disconnected. When rejoining, the world had rolled back about 5-10 minutes. We noticed significant lag when going near villages and portals before being disconnected. Both of said villages had active raids. After the fourth relog attempt I tried activating the other worlds on the realm to see if it was a world-specific or realm-specific issue. Second world worked fine at first, if a little laggy. Moved on the the 3rd world. 3rd isn't lagging and i can relog and edit the world normally. 2nd however has become inaccessible now in addition to 1st. Attempting to activate them gives me OP's error message. Any attempt to edit either of the first 2 worlds only shows information for the 3rd even though the edit world title indicates otherwise. When cancelling out of the edit screens, a new dialogue box appears claiming some of the changes could not be applied. It is my understanding it shouldn't be attempting to apply changes if I cancelled out of the screen in the first place. Hopefully this doesn't indicate my worlds have been overwritten.
this is on bedrock realms for ps4, v1.18.30.

Even though 8k+ is when the realm settings stop working, I have found when you get to 5k+, the realm settings options start to get really slow and buggy.
I am currently on my third realm since my last 2 realms both got griefed and I was unable to access the settings to reset the world. My first realm was at 50k+ members, my second was at 13k+ members.
So what I have started doing now to prevent this issue, is pressing the 'Clear Members' Button when it gets over 5k. I wish I didn't have to do this as it causes active members to have to re-enter the code again, but it is either that or risk losing the ability to edit realm again.
As for the reason why this issue is happening, I suspect the cause is when opening the realm settings it tries to load ALL the members and their information, and it either crashes when it tries or it times out. What it should be doing is only load the members when you click that panel option, and even then, only X amount at a time.
The member's page does have pagination buttons already on it, but it must be designed to sort and divide up the members after loading all the members when opening the realm settings. So they need to change it so it requests & loads a limited amount of members for each page. Which isn't that hard to do.
I really do hope this gets resolved.
We're able to use a 10,000 member Realm properly in 1.20, though you do have to be patient while the pages load!
If you have any issues with large Realms after 1.20, please comment with which platform (e.g. Android) you're using, what type of Internet connection you're on, and any other relevant info. Thanks!
Is this still an issue in the latest version?
Does the issue only occur for realms with a large number of members?
