I'm attempting to upload an older world to a PC Realm I just resubbed to. The world directory is about 4.25 GB, so it takes a while to upload. I've attempted to upload several times, and after it gets to 100% and is going through the verification process, it stops and gives an error "Upload Failed (-1)" I'm happy to provide additional log files if they would be helpful, but since the upload appears to be completing and it's the verification that seems to be the failure (which I assume is server side?) I don't know what direction to go with this. It seems to me that bringing old worlds back from the dead should be Realms' specialty, so I assume this is something you guys would like to work out. Let me know, happy to help!

Just an update - I received a response from Mojang support that unforuntately was rather generic and did not address my question about whether there was additional logging available to see where the error had happened. HOWEVER - I decided to take that same 3rd world slot, created a brand new world on it, then tried one more time to upload our world...and it worked! We're in business. I wish I knew why it failed the first two or three times, but I'm happy to have it running.
Now if we could just get an official migration tool for a PC Minecraft Realm to a MCPE/Win10 "Unified" Realm, I would be ecstatic. 😉 Thanks.

I'm having the same problem too. I just tried to upload a world that was too big, so I went into the regions folder and deleted some of the chunk files and tried to upload it again, but now it's giving me this error. It still works when I try to upload other worlds but just not that one. I've tried to put the regions folder into other world saves and I can go into them in singleplayer just fine, but I still can't upload the world.

This is happening for me. Have tried uploading multiple times. Still getting the error: "Verifying your world - 100% - Upload failed (-1)"

It finally worked!! Not sure why, but I did the upload one more time and it completed without error.
What did I do? Probably nothing. I did open the world in Single Player again moved around just so I could see if the realm had the same change after the upload. But that was probably just coincidental.

I have the same issue, doesn't matter what world I upload it gives me error (-1). So much for paying...

This is not bug minecraft relalms have limit 4 GB of memory for any user

@@unknown 4GB of memory per user total? Or per world? I'm getting this with worlds that are only 2.20GB each. If the size is the problem the bug is that it doesn't say that the size is the problem.Â

This is also an issue for me at the moment.
Wanted to upload data packs to a world I and some friends have been playing in my realm.
So I downloaded the last backup, tested it in a single player, added the data packs, and tried uploading it. It failed with the upload executing but got stuck in "Verifying your world" and eventually failed with the error (-1).
So I proceeded to do some tests.
Namely downloaded the backup again, and tried to upload it without the data packs, and I still got the same issue.
My world has 1.16GB.
I then tried with a smaller world of 31 MB and it was successful. So I assume it has something to do with the size of it.
I replicated the issue and achieved the following logs in the launcher debug console
[media]I have uploaded the worlds both the error one and the successful one this link will be there for 7 days, https://we.tl/t-Ic0tciJXnu.
