On Realms server, players that have a "member" status do not keep Operator status when changed by the Realms owner. This means that the owner must be available to change a member to an operator every time they log in to the realm.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (~1 year+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

We've seen this problem as well. Thankfully it only affects some of the operators (me), but it rather defeats the purpose of having multiples if the host must be available to restore privileges. Add to that the fact that the /op command doesn't work in realms and we don't even have a workaround.
Between this kind of stuff and login issues it's becoming very difficult to want to spend money on this.
