Update on this issue:
5 Apr 2022 by @unknown It looks like our new HTTP library will solve this problem for Nintendo Switch. We're hoping to roll this out for Switch soon after the 1.19 update.
I am getting a PC soon so I have tried to upload my 500mb survival world to realms. It begins to upload, then suddenly the game freezes and a crashes. Every way to upload a world results in this issue. It has been aparent since the 1.16 release. This seems to be only an issue for Minecraft Bedrock on Nintendo Switch. The crash also always occurs in the same spot of the upload process. I hope my info can help fix the issue. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your report!
Is this still an issue with the latest update (1.18)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

Yes it is sadly
Does this occur for one world only, or any? If it's the former, might you be able to share a copy of the world?
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

You have to fix this this is still a problem in the current 1.18 version

When do They fix this 1.19 Release? it always crashes on my 650mgb world I want to play it on my xbox series x

Crashing and failing to load resources packs on the Nintendo switch for 1.19.1 “failed to join realm” messages. But will get in after several resets. If lucky

In the latest release of 1.19 for Minecraft Bedrock on the Nintendo Switch, the issue is still occurring when I try to upload this same world 😞 It will successfully upload smaller worlds around ~10mb but my ~566mb world continues to have this issue and causes the game to crash. @CornerHard has the HTTP library been released yet? I still have the issue as of 7/22/22? Thank you all for your support around this issue and hopefully it will be resolved soon 🙂

Still no luck now that switch has the new network stack. I just want to upload my world to realms. Just keeps crashing. I dont have any recource or behavior packs on. I tried copy the world that also is not working

Hey! Any news on the current situation?

Hi there,
i have the same issue on my Switch, Minecraft Version 1.19.51. My 890 MB world just wont upload to my realm. Minecraft crashes after the upload-ribbon gets to around 60%. Tried every fix i found on the internet, like for example archiving, deleting and redownloading the software.
As i also get the error of "not having enough space on my Switch, although there is plenty of empty space available" MCPE-36670 this is very very annoying.

I got a similar issue on my switch, where when i try to upload my 7mb world the game crashes at 100% of the export. I hope this will be fixed soon.
Edit: I have some news. I just saw that this 7mb world is an experimental world. So i tried with an old 3mb world and it actually worked.
