Unable to connect to world when joining realm , ive tried closing realm, backing up, deleting addons , uninstalling app, uninstalling game, logging off , checking my internet connection, editing world, i cant even switch my realm slot… ever since 1.17.30 we cannot craft blocks or ingots also but main issue is not connecting to world (realm) after joining realm screen i get loading resources and then the unable to connect to world screen.

Realms hasn't worked since early yesterday.

Realms hasn't worked since Friday!
I have been having the same problem sine the last update. I either cannot join the realm, or when I try to use a backup (not all of which will work) but when I find one that does work it only works for a few moments, then it crashes and kicks me out. When it is working it is super buggy, lags a bunch, freezes, and chests and switches don't work.
Tried downloading the level to play on my device, but that downloaded level crashes or won't load too.
I have tried all weekend and no luck. This happens on my switch and on all of my android devices!

We haven't been able to get on our realm since 8:30 mountain time last night. but since the update the realm has had multiple issues.

for some reason I can't access my realm and it won't allow me to use a backup or even create another world, can you help me pleaaaaase since yesterday is not working!!!!, We create a backup and try to use it, we create another world but still the same thing.

My realm is still not working. This has been happening since Friday.

3. wait forever for realm to load

says that it is building terrain and all that stuff it does before you join, then you get a message that says "Disconnected from Server"

It should load my realm and let me play.

Coming from thread issue 9078- our realm we can not get into anymore and when it does load it resets 🙃 either tells us cannot enter world or disconnects from server. And now we are being reset.
We rolled out a hotfix yesterday which may have addressed some of the issues described here (version 1.17.32) - could you please let us know if this connection issue has improved since then?

It did make it so that I am able to join more frequently, but it still is very buggy and crashes every time. I am able to join my realm, but there is only a certain area that loads, and then it crashes.
When the realm does work again has saved nothing that I did last time (not that it works for long enough for me to do much)

I just logged into my Realm (Switch, Bedrock, 1.17.3x) and everything seemed to work fine. If that was a random pocket of good luck, and everything craps out again later tonight, I'll be back to see what happens with this ticket. For now, good job, and thanks!
Just tried to log on at 3:10p EST (Pennsylvania?) and got the 'Failed to Login' message pretty quickly. I just wanna give a big internet hug to everyone else who's having issues.
Minecraft kinda became my only hobby in March 2021, so I get that having your favorite thing taken away sucks. I've also tried to develop games, myself, and had people get really mad when the game didn't work, despite my best efforts, so I feel for the tech team, too.

Getting the same error this morning, and last night got disconnected and the realm reset to a previous save. The error I get this morning is failed attempting to join realm. Please try again later.

Works for about 30 minutes then crashes but we lose all progress for the 30 minutes. It has gotten worse since the update.

This is still an issue in my realm too.

Still not working for me. It will let me join, but only in about 100 squares worth of my realm, then after about 5 mins it crashes.

Still getting the "Disconnected from Server" icon whenever I attempt to join my realm. Other realm members are faced with the same result.

This is third week that I have not been able to access my realm. I pay my bill every month for this service that I am not receiving for a significant amount of time. I am starting to become very disgruntled with this service and may have to cancel my membership if this does not get resolved now. We have all been very patient and your response to our complaints have been very much lacking.

I saw that you all did an update on the Switch, that did not fix the problem, same issues on Switch and Adroid devices. I can access my realm but only an area of about 100 blocks, then it kicks me out after about 5 mins. When I download the level it either fails to load or glitches and kicks me out.

For Xbox one Bedrock edition

This just happened to my husband and I playing our realm on separate PS4s (10/8).
I was chopping trees and crafting oak steps in a semi-remote area and he was chopping trees near one of our villages when we noticed the signs of disconnecting. Neither of us could open inventories, interact with placed items (chests, crafting tables, beds, etc), mobs were frozen in place. We exited the game, then upon trying to reload we didn't get passed the loading screens and either had to cancel the operation or we would get an "Unable to connect to world" message. We tried uploading an old save from 7 minutes, 37 minutes, and 8 hours before the disconnect and everything failed to upload. About an hour after the crash, we tried to log back in and it loaded the save from 7 minutes prior to the crash.
This happened more minorly 10/7, where we were able to upload an old save and only lose about 30 minutes of work.
Again on 10/9 while playing Realms with two of us on separate PS4s and one person on Xbox, the game froze. We all left the world and it again won't load back in (stuck at the "Loading resource packs" page). We'll try back in a while.

I'm having the same issues on switch and mobile. I haven't been able to login for about 3 weeks. I'm currently deployed overseas and Minecraft is the best way to engage and interact with my children. It's been really hard on us telling the kids sorry I can't play with you today.

Same 4 me on android. I noticed that I'm able to restore older copy and I'm able to log in into it but its laggy and crashes after few minutes if playing. My world is now 250 mg size, maybe its somehow related.

Same here on Xbox One and Switch. We are stuck in one small area when it does load, then get kicked off within 5 minutes. Much of the inventory not working either and animals all dissappeared. Its been almost 3 weeks now. Hasn't worked right since the last update.

I host a realm and most days people can't play without being kicked. Yesterday we were kicked twice and both times were 20+ minute rollbacks. Been happening for at least 3 weeks now. Please the game is unplayable with all the bugs.

Same as above. It has literally just happened again. I had restored to an earlier back up and all was fine until about half hour ago. I have the files but can't work out which files to attach... the size jumped up a little too...

I just found something maybe useful... when I downloaded the two most recent backups of our realm I noticed there is a 'lost' folder in the most recent one (which now seems broken again).
There are 2 log files in there but they are both over 600,000 kbs!!
I've attached as much as I could!

You just billed me my $7.98 for this month, am I going to get to play this time?

Just had another server crash. ..was playing with two other friends, and suddenly everything is frozen, including them. We first noticed mobs weren't spawning where they usually should be, then we couldn't even bring up our player inventory. Realm disconnected all 3 of us a minute or two later. Rollback was minimal this time though, thankfully. It took about 10 minutes or so before we were able to join the server again.
Caves & Cliffs experimental toggle has not been touched. .. just running regular, vanilla, current release (1.17.34).

Have been having rollbacks happen every half hour today. I log in, I'm in the end, I kill some shulkers, and it freezes and then I lose progress. So sick of this

Still doesn't work

Just got charged the monthly realm subscription fee even though I can't play on the realm. It's been weeks, how has there been zero progress on fixing this issue.

Now I can't even join my realm. What is annoying is the lack of communication you all are giving us, yet you continue to take our money for a service we are not receiving. The least you could do is keep us updated, otherwise you could end up with a class action lawsuit on you hands.

Yeah it would be nice if Mojang at least pretended to care about their loyal customers. Its obvious by now they messed Realms up bad and I am assuming its not going to be fixed. No way of knowing when they won't communicate with us. They will probably delete this comment because its not a bug report. They are good at that at least. I will not be renewing my subscription.

Haven't been able to connect at all today. Come on Mojang, we love this game, please do better.

I also find the lack of communication and the fact they do not want to let us communicate with each other very annoying. There should at least be a message system on here so we can private message each other with tips and suggestions. I would hate to see a class action lawsuit occur, but at the same time we have 2 realms that have both been down for a month. Some sort of attempt should have been made to either give us credit or a refund for downtime.

Is there an update on this ticket, or any compensation for the realm owners as this issue persists?

This problem is still ongoing now I can't even log in it just boots me before loading the realm.. We would appreciate some sort of communication I know you all say it takes a long time to fix these things but what doesn't take a long time is giving an update to these problems. We are paying Money for a service that we're not receiving and the least you could do is tell us what's going on.
