Right. At client-side, when you input /permission in chat, you will see:

/permission set <player: target> [permission: PermissionLevel]

But it's not working. I talked with my friends, we think its correct syntax are:
Server-side only:

/permission list
/permission reload

Client-side only:

/permission set <player: target> [permission: PermissionLevel]

Maybe the client-side usage requires a too high permission level, and cannot run.

(Note: The server-side usage runs normally.)

And also, if the "Tutorial" option does not appear, you can not use Command /gametips.

It's similar to MCPE-178301, but there's a different: smelling and digging. Sniffers will dig after smelling.

This issue is about "Sniffer smells but it doesn't dig blocks".

Can confirmed in 1.21.30.21, many versions are affected.

I tested in Bedrock Edition 1.21.0 (Windows), liked that for many tests:

  • The first egg just hatches in 4 minutes (<10min) on moss blocks.

  • The first egg just hatches in 7 minutes (<20min) NOT on moss blocks.

  • And the second egg just hatches in 20 seconds.

That's too quickly.
