Also doesn't seem to prevent the "pop" sound a firework makes when set off, but does prevent the sound of the rocket being fired. If someone who is able to could confirm and add this to the list that would be helpful.

On behalf of the New Eden community I'd like to add our support for classifying this as a feature and not a bug, it adds some new mechanics which have allowed us to design quite a fun racing mini-game.
