No there was nothing abnormal, I just saved and exited the world and turned of the xbox as I usually would.
It only happens with sand and sand from the creative menu does it to
It also seems to be changing what it looks like when I minizmize the game then come back
That is great however I do not know what to search for because most of them are out of date or for something different.

I am having the same issue.
Ik how growing and such works with loading chunks, and this isnt really a bug, it seems the sugar cane is taking longer to grow than it used to for some reason, and i thought i wasnt growing at all. I was talking about if you had it planted, left the area, than when they were loaded again then even while sitting there loading the chunks the sugar cane still didnt grow
Yes it does, in Mumbo's video and in one of my screenshots, I have 0 resourcepacks enabled.
