Ah that's why my sword disappeared.
Some time during beta, I remember having some tools break randomly, is this somehow linked?
This still happens to me, though not very often.
Clicking on a block makes my keyboard work again.
Is this a one time occurrence, or does this happen often?
I wonder why this hasn't been seen by Mojang
As a few have commented, I believe the rendering problem was due to AdvancedOpenGL (mine was on without me knowing). Turning it off will fixed the rendering problem.
I believe AdvancedOpenGL is a "fast" rendering option for those with performance issues.
Still, seems unnatural.
You are right. The mouse is not the problem.
Still something I'd like fixed by the next update. You will often run into this bug playing survival, so it definitely affects gameplay.
I too found it bizarre seeing endermen randomly shaking. I say this because when first implemented, they became aggravated when looked at or took damage from a player (or mob I guess). They were peaceful creatures and appeared calm.
This may be intended by EvilSteph, but it was bizarre enough to me that I thought this was a bug.
Works with all blocks with a GUI except Minecart with Chest. I first found this while enchanting and using enchanted books, as I was about to report. I've always needed 5 items in the hotbar and needed to shift click them before opening a chest/beacon block/anvil etc...
Minecraft 1.4.7
**Edit: This doesn't only occur when opening a GUI block. While testing this bug, I found that instead of opening the chest (for example) reopen your inventory and close it. It works sometimes.
Therefor, this might even work when opening villager GUI. I believe there are already some bugs on the bug tracker reported with villagers.
Found this bug too (version 1.4.7).
Tried to scale Map #1 out. Expected to receive Map #2 (scaled out version of Map #1). Instead I received Map #1 (all eight paper were still used in the process). Confused, I tried a few more times. Finally, by regularly dragging the map into my inventory, I received Map #6.
I will post a video if requested.
Though the mouse may be a possibility, I doubt it because of the lack of animation and sound on the second consumed food. I have no idea what provoked this change in the 1.3 era. Either way, this bug is quite annoying when playing survival.
Agreed Xavier. Was trying this on my Windows 7 laptop and didn't get any results. I had problems in the past, but rarely.
When attempting on my mac, I didn't get any results on my first run, but playing on my normal survival map, I got results that I didn't even record. It happened VERY often.
It could possibly be the mouse (but I doubt it because there is no animation on the second food item). I use the old apple mouse that has a button 3, but my MagicMouse has the same problem.
Sadly, there is no sound.
The first bread is eaten, and the right mouse button is let go. The sound of chewing, followed by a burp is as usual.
A second bread is eaten without the animation (and without pressing the right mouse button). The only sound made is a burp after the second bread is done (no chewing sound).
I've also had this problem very often while playing survival. This bug has been here probably since 1.3
Like other users say, this usually happens when moving. Also, the shank level mustn't be full after the first food item is consumed, and there should be enough shanks left so that the second item fills up the hunger bar.
There doesn't seem to be a lag problem.
I will try to post a video after Christmas performing the bug, if no mods can duplicate this.
Confirmed.
